Preparing your office for carpet cleaning
Thank you for choosing us. A few minutes of preparation before we arrive shortens the job, protects your equipment and belongings, and improves the final result.
Everything worth knowing is gathered here. You can tick items off as you go, print the page, or pass it along to whoever is handling it in the office.
Before we arrive — preparing the space
There is no need to turn the office upside down. Whatever you manage is great, and we will sort the rest out together when we arrive.

For everyone's safety, ours and yours, we do not move heavy furniture: cabinets, office desks, bookcases, safes, fridges or large equipment. We clean around and beneath them as far as we can reach. If you need the carpet cleaned under a particular piece, we would be grateful if it could be moved in advance by you or someone on your behalf.
Logistics — what we would like to confirm in advance
The practical details that let us start work the moment we arrive, with no delays.
After the clean — drying and getting back to normal
We extract most of the water back out, so the carpet is left damp rather than wet. From there it is a matter of ventilation.
Office carpet usually dries within a few hours; with thick carpet, a large area or humid weather it can take up to 24. It is worth scheduling accordingly — ahead of a weekend, for example.
Setting the AC to fan or cooling speeds drying considerably. If it can stay on overnight, even better.
Natural ventilation is the most effective way to shorten drying time. If windows can safely be left open, we recommend it.
Best avoided. If you must cross the area, please do so in clean shoes — damp carpet picks up dirt faster than usual.
Metal or wooden legs left in contact with damp carpet can leave a mark. We will place protectors where we can, and it is worth keeping an eye on this after we leave.
Not only carpets
While we are with you, we can take care of upholstery too: sofas and armchairs in lounge areas, office chairs, and fabric partitions. If you would like those included, do let us know in advance so we can plan the time for it.

We are happy to answer before the day — far better to agree things in advance than to be surprised on site.
