Cleaning mattresses changes
The boy couldn't help himself?
Did the dog get confused between the yard and your mattress again?
First of all, calm down, it's not the end of the world and there's no reason to throw away the mattress!
True, there are no do-it-yourself methods that will really do the job or save you from hiring a professional.
But a professional company that works with quality materials and appropriate equipment will solve your problem at a cost of less than ten percent of the price of buying a new mattress.
It is important that you understand that after professional cleaning by injection and suction, the mattress will be completely clean and smell wonderful. But in most cases yellow spots caused by the browning of the fabric itself will not disappear.
The chance of removing brown spots increases as the mattress is made of a higher quality fabric, it is not an iron rule either, but the cleaning results also depend on the quality of the material from which your furniture is made.
There are professionals who will offer you cleaning and whitening with bleach.
This is wrong and not recommended because the bleach causes irreversible damage to the fabrics as well as the health hazard posed to the professional himself during the cleaning and especially to those who are supposed to sleep on the mattress at the end of the cleaning process.
How long does it take for the mattress to dry after a professional mattress cleaning treatment?
If the mattress is cleaned using equipment designed for this, the drying process should not last more than 12 hours.
Drying that lasts more than 48 hours is likely to cause damage and the appearance of mold spots. Today, thanks to the advanced equipment available on the market, the cleaning itself is carried out at the customer's home without the need to wait for the mattress to be picked up and returned from the factory.
Until a professional arrives, try to ventilate the mattress as much as possible and even spray with a little laundry detergent. Be sure to order cleaning in the morning until noon to be sure that the mattress will dry by evening.
Cleaning mattresses the right way?
First of all, the professional should vacuum the mattress thoroughly.
(This step is not something that must be done if it is a really dusty mattress or full of crumbs).
The second step is the step when the professional comes to identify the oil stains and spray them with a cleaner and neutralizes odors in a more targeted way than the rest of the mattress.
In the third step, hot water under air pressure and a professional material for cleaning mattresses must be injected.
After waiting a few minutes in which we allow the material to penetrate deep into the mattress and dissolve all the dirt that has accumulated inside it, we begin the fourth stage which is actually the suction stage.
At this stage, the mattress must be thoroughly vacuumed several times from all sides and by doing so we will make sure that we have vacuumed back the maximum amount.
If the mattress was really dirty, repeat steps 3-4 one more time with clean water or a neutral detergent and as a result we will make sure to remove all the residues of the cleaning agent we worked with.
Immediately after vacuuming, spray the mattress with an odor neutralizing agent.
Please note, it's not just that these perfumes are in a professional odor neutralizer that doesn't come with the purpose of perfume only, these contain an active substance that causes the bacteria themselves to break down.
Again, focus on the points where the mattress has absorbed the most urine, but no less than that, you need to make sure that it receives a spray that will cover the entire mattress uniformly.
From here on the drying begins where you don't have to do anything except take care of as much air circulation as possible in the room where the mattress is.
A light, air conditioner or open windows are things that will speed up the drying process. Do not cover the mattresses with sheets until we are 100% sure that it is completely dry.
Regarding any additional questions regarding ordering a service, we will be happy to be at your disposal.
